A small band of adventurers boldly entered into Karazhan on Monday, October 22, 2007 and made the next step towards mastering the many bosses which reside there.

attempted the daring deed 8 separate times. And in the end, victory was theirs! But the cudos do not only go to them. All the members of the guild who have participated in the 6 Karazhan runs should be proud. Through our concerted efforts, keying, gearing and supporting each other, dying, repairing and soldiering on, we have made the next step in this, the first of the high-end BC instances.

Congratulations to all!

Karazhan Sign-Ups

In order to ensure that everyone has a shot at the Phat Loot in Kara, it is very important that everyone that is keyed, that wants to participate, uses the Raid Signup. The raid signup for each night closes 24hrs prior to the pull.

Karazhan requires specific classes be present in the raid. An unbalanced group has little chance of success, although it does sometimes happen. To that end, the signups are used, along with the chart posted in the forums to set up the group. If you have not signed up, we can't count on you to be there, and consequently, decisions get made regarding group makeup (or the cancellation of the raid) based on those facts.

For those classes that are heavily populated, such as hunters, we are doing are best to rotate those that signup. Your patience is much appreciated. Rest assured, if you signup, you will eventually get in. Guildies ALWAYS take precedence over others on night one. The toons saved to night one get first shot at night two regardless. The folks that have signed up get first shot at subbing in for folks that have to leave or don't show up the second night. Understand though, that taking 4 of any one class will not happen even if that is all that is signed up. There is no way to succeed with a group that unbalanced and the raid will be called rather than running up everyone’s repair bill.

Karazhan is a difficult instance. It takes skill, patience and gear to succeed. We all need to continue to work on our gear throughout the week, practice our skills such as trapping, shackling, picking up loose mobs and the like. As we learn the fights (which are all very choreographed) we will succeed more easily and gear ourselves up. We need to hang in there during this initial phase. We can get this place on farm status, we just need to train the farmers. See you in game!

ML invades Karazhan

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

It was a long time coming... players have come and gone, but the faithful were rewarded Friday night with a visit to Karazhan. Mythical Legends had some help from our friends at Critical Mass and Halfwits, and by all accounts, it was a successful first time in the dungeon.

"I had a personal goal of getting to Moroes on the first night, and we achieved that", said Alfamehl... "On night two in the dungeon, we'll have an opportunity to tackle Moroes head on, and I expect that we'll get him down"

At the end of the night, everybody got some experience in Kara and received some nice gear - Antimaim (gloves), Daraghell (crossbow), and everybody got their first signet. The next trip into the dungeon is Monday, September 17th, and the pull time is 730pm.

Congratulations Mythical Legends, and everybody that was part of this first adventure in Karazhan... more to come.

Karazhan is HERE! - September 14!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This coming Friday, Mythical Legends will be venturing into Karazhan for the first time... We've been busy getting the last of our guild members keyed for the event, and you are encouraged to continue those efforts.

If you are intending to go on either nights of the first week's event, please use the raid sign up (see the link at the very top of the page), so that we will know who's interested and what the group make up is looking like.

We're all very excited, and based on some of our members previous experience in the raiding instance, we are optimistic for our collective success.

See you on Friday!

Karazhan Sign ups

Mythical Legends' first venture into Karazhan is coming up soon. As such there are a couple of things that those planning on going need to do.

FIRST - get your characters ready by ensuring that you've completed all of the tasks to become "ATTUNED" or "KEYED" if you will for the event. Each of us need to complete a series of dungeons that will prepare you for entry much as you were required for old world instances like ONY.

SECOND - Make sure that you sign up for the event on the RAID SIGNUP page on the guild website. You can follow a link to the page from the choices at the very top of the website page... You will need to create a new logon for the Raid Signup page, and get approval from the guild leader. This process takes overnight, so please don't wait until the last minute to do this - the group composition is very important and we need to ensure that we have the correct classes for the dungeon so we will fill up the group with friends as required as we approach the event/

We want to ensure that everybody who is interested in going has a chance to do so.... If you have questions then contact any of the Guild Officers and get the answers you need.
